Hey there!
I'm a percussionist and composer out of Lexington, Kentucky. I've been commissioned by University's and high schools for my percussion ensemble works and arrangements.
I’m currently pursuing my bachelors degree in Music Education at the University of Kentucky. I have performed with numerous world-renowned ensembles, such as the 5-time winner of the Percussive Arts Society International Percussion Ensemble competition - The university of Kentucky Percussion Studio.
My name is James Beckner
I currently teach in the Kentucky tri-state area, with focus on the State-champion Madison Central Marching Band, where I arrange for marching percussion, am caption head for the Front-Ensemble, and teach concert percussion.
